With over 360 years of history, the house upholds a long tradition and has been owned by hosts Ilka and Dominic Müller since 2008. At Ritter Durbach, car lovers get their money's worth. The electrically powered Smart Cabrio is the perfect vehicle for all environmentally conscious guests who want to explore the area in comfort. Guests who arrive with their own electric car can use the two charging stations at the hotel.

Culinary highlights

In the evening, long-time star chef André Tienelt spoils his guests in a casual and informal atmosphere. The innovative gourmet concept makidan comprises around 20 seasonally changing dishes from which guests can put together their own individual menu. In 2020, makidan was awarded 16 points by the Gault Millau restaurant guide. The focus is on regional products, a lot of craftsmanship and knowledge of trends.

Overall wine concept

The theme of wine runs like a red thread through the hotel. In addition to the exclusive wine wellness in the spa with sun terrace, pool and several saunas, the wine cellar boasts over 700 labels. The choice of colours in the 87 rooms and suites is also based on viticulture. Green and Bordeaux symbolise leafy green and red wine. For Baden specialities and wine, we recommend a visit to Schloss Staufenberg, which is also run by the Müller family.
