High above Lake Constance, nestled in the lovely hilltops of the Appenzell hills, in the heart of the village of Speicher, has been the Hotel Krone for over 300 years. Hospitality is literally an inherited trait here, and this naturally results in hospitality with a down-to-earth attitude.

Bright, friendly hotel rooms with charming allusions to the Biedermeier era, cosy guest lounges on the ground floor and the inviting Kronenkaffee on the ground floor. In addition, the culinary delights range from homemade cakes to hearty sausage salad and braised beef to exquisite veal chops: never intrusive, but always appealing. In the walk-in wine cellar, our guests can select their favourite wine themselves and receive expert assistance.

What centuries ago the horse stables in the immediate vicinity and decades ago the installed petrol pumps directly next to the building wing were for inns, today they are the electric charging stations. That's why the Krone supports charging options for every type of plug.
